“Taiwan Fashion Craft” is a joint venture planned and implemented by NTCRI (National Taiwan Craft Research Institute) and TDC (Taiwan Design Center). Joint forces by all the top craftsmen in Taiwan and new-age designers experienced with participating in international exhibitions and winning certain awards, they form the working team through our endeavor. With the craft techniques in traditional bamboo weaving, kiln firing (ceramic), blue dye crafts, thin silver forging, etc, the designers convert the modern elements in design to create quality crafts that fit into daily life. The crafts completed in this project include electric fans, computer bags, Chinese chess, scarves, lamps, furniture, ornaments, tableware, and other quality crafts that integrate original design concept for daily use. |
